Designed for young competitive skiers, the Rossignol HERO LEG PROTECTION JR is a shin guard designed for alpine skiing races, particularly slalom events. Its high-strength polypropylene shell and single-density foam padding provide reliable protection against impacts with the gates, allowing young athletes to stay focused on their line.

The HERO LEG PROTECTION JR meets the demands of junior slalom

In alpine skiing, repeated contact with slalom gates exposes the shins to impacts whose intensity can disrupt a young racer’s concentration and technique. The polypropylene shell of this protector absorbs and disperses impacts, while the single-density foam interior adapts to the shape of the shin for a customized fit. CE safety certification confirms that the product meets defined performance criteria, though it does not guarantee absolute protection against all risks associated with the sport.

A simple and secure fit for young athletes

Putting on and taking off the shin guard is made easy by hook-and-loop closures combined with adjustable silicone straps, which keep the shin guard securely in place during activity without slipping. The lightweight, ergonomic design—weighing just 500 g—minimizes discomfort on the lower leg and preserves freedom of movement, two factors that are particularly important in speed-oriented and technically precise disciplines such as slalom.

Materials and Design

Here are the main technical features of the HERO LEG PROTECTION JR that have not yet been discussed in detail:

• Polypropylene shell: a rigid, lightweight material that provides structural support and withstands repeated impacts from the gates.
• Single-density foam: interior padding that conforms to the shape of the shin for a personalized fit and lasting comfort.
• Adjustable silicone straps: provide reliable support without the protection shifting during the race.
