Leki FOREARM PROTECTOR

Designed for alpine skiers competing or training on slalom courses, the LEKI FOREARM PROTECTOR is a unisex forearm protector built to withstand repeated impacts from slalom gates. Its rigid, high-impact composite construction and adjustable hook-and-loop straps make it both durable and adaptable to any body type.

A composite construction to reduce the risks associated with pole impacts

The shell of the FOREARM PROTECTOR is made of a high-impact composite plastic featuring a polycarbonate shell and a carbon-fiber finish. This rigid construction helps dissipate the energy from impacts and vibrations generated upon contact with slalom gates, though it does not guarantee absolute protection against all impacts. The contoured shape ensures comfortable coverage of the forearm, while the internal padding provides additional cushioning when passing through the gates. The protectors are sold in pairs, with a distinct ergonomic design for the left and right forearms.

A customizable fit to suit every skier

The adjustable hook-and-loop straps provide a secure and personalized fit, regardless of the skier’s size. The length of the protector is adjustable within a range of approximately 24 to 29 cm, and the shell can be trimmed to further refine the fit according to each user’s specific needs. This level of customization is particularly useful during periods of intense training, when the comfort of the equipment directly affects concentration and performance.

A Matrix Designed for Smooth Racing

The FOREARM PROTECTOR features a matrix with polished sliding zones, precisely engineered to reduce friction upon contact with the gates and allow the gates to glide smoothly along the forearm. Developed in collaboration with race skiers, it is compatible with LEKI race poles and gloves to form a cohesive protection system covering the entire upper arm.
