The Speck team offers you the chance to hire your equipment (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowboarding...) at the best price. Whether you want to hire your equipment by the day, by the week or by the season, it's all possible!

Who are we?

Located in Alsace, more specifically in the Thur Valley, Speck has specialized in the sale of mountain sports equipment for over 50 years.

If you are visiting the Thur Valley, come and meet our team of specialists at 77B rue des Vosges in Bitschwiller-lès-Thann.

Le Markstein

Our second rental shop is located right at the Markstein resort and offers all the equipment you need for winter sports, whatever your level.

For a real thrill, check out our sleds and snowscoots!

Forgot your gloves? Don't panic, the shop offers a wide selection of accessories (goggles, sunglasses, helmets, gloves, clothing, etc.) for the whole family!

Markstein is located 50 km from Mulhouse and Épinal, and 90 km from Basel and Freiburg im Breisgau.

There are several ways to get there:
- Thann Valley via RD 1066, towards Kruth or Willer-sur-Thur
- Guebwiller Valley via RD 43, towards Buhl

During the season, a ski shuttle also serves Le Markstein.
- Guebwiller Valley (departures from Bollwiller, Soultz, Guebwiller)
- Thur Valley (departures from Cernay, Thann, Saint-Amarin)

Good to know: show your ski shuttle ticket to get a 10% discount on:
- A day's rental at our rental shop at Markstein
- A hot meal at Le Tremplin restaurant
