The shape of this protector is directly based on that of the Round Carbon Competition forearm guards used in the World Cup, adapted here for junior sizes. The outer plastic shell features a smooth surface that promotes gliding upon contact with the gates, thereby minimizing jolts when passing through them. Inside, soft foam padding complements the design to absorb some of the energy transmitted during an impact. The 22 cm length ensures extensive coverage of the forearm, an area particularly vulnerable in slalom and giant slalom.
