Designed for young skiers, the Energiapura PLAST JR A029 RED forearm protector is engineered for racing, particularly to withstand repeated impacts with slalom gates. Its sturdy plastic shell and anatomical design, tailored to a junior’s body shape, make it a reliable piece of equipment for budding competitors. Available in a 22 cm size, it is part of the 2024 collection.

Energiapura PLAST JR A029 RED Forearm Protector: A Shell Inspired by Competition

The shape of this protector is directly based on that of the Round Carbon Competition forearm guards used in the World Cup, adapted here for junior sizes. The outer plastic shell features a smooth surface that promotes gliding upon contact with the gates, thereby minimizing jolts when passing through them. Inside, soft foam padding complements the design to absorb some of the energy transmitted during an impact. The 22 cm length ensures extensive coverage of the forearm, an area particularly vulnerable in slalom and giant slalom.

Adjustable fit for everyday use in both training and competition

The fastening system uses elastic straps with hook-and-loop closures, allowing for precise adjustment to fit each young skier’s body type. This fastening solution also makes it easy to quickly put on and take off the guards between runs or at the end of a training session. The anatomical design helps keep the protective gear in the correct position without it shifting under stress. A carrying bag is included, which is convenient for storing and transporting the gear without damaging it between uses.

Certification and Product Classification

The protector is CE Category I certified, which attests to an independent evaluation of its protective characteristics against minor mechanical risks. It is designed for both young competitive skiers and those who ski for recreation, provided that slalom is part of their regular training regimen. The lightweight material chosen for the shell is designed not to hinder technical movements—a factor that is particularly important for junior skiers who are still developing their skills.
