Designed for competitive alpine skiers, the Rossignol HERO HAND PROTECTION is engineered to meet the demands of intense training and slalom races. Unisex and available in one size, it is designed to reduce the risks associated with impacts from gates on the course, thanks to its high-impact polypropylene construction. Its integration with racing gloves and broad compatibility with poles make it ideal for skiers serious about their on-slope preparation.

The HERO HAND PROTECTION: Designed for the Demands of Alpine Racing

On slalom courses, hands are exposed to repeated impacts against the gates, often under harsh conditions. The HERO HAND PROTECTION features a polypropylene structure—a rigid material known for its impact resistance—to cover the hand and minimize the effects of these impacts. Weighing 400 g per pair, it remains light enough not to hinder the skier’s movements during the race. Its ergonomic design ensures a seamless fit with competition gloves, without interfering with grip on the poles.

Compatibility Designed for Competition Use

How the protection attaches to the pole is a key factor in choosing this type of equipment. The HERO HAND PROTECTION is compatible with 16 mm and 18 mm shafts, allowing it to fit the vast majority of racing ski poles available on the market. Mounting hardware is included, making installation easy without requiring any additional accessories. This versatility makes it a great option for both competitors and those who train regularly.

Certification and Origin

The protector is CE-certified, attesting that it meets European standards for personal protective equipment in this context of use. It is part of the Winter 2027 collection from Rossignol, a French brand whose Hero style draws direct inspiration from the Alpine Ski World Cup.
