Armada ARV 106 ski pack + bindings

The ARV 106 is an all-mountain twin designed for those who want a single quiver to do it all: float in powder, play in the park, and carve on the piste. You'll enjoy excellent float, responsive pop thanks to its poplar core, and balanced flex for confident tricks and turns.

Why choose the ARV 106?

If you like to vary your terrain, the ARV 106 is the board for you: its twin tip construction and progressive rocker profile allow you to explore both forest lines and park features. Stable at high speeds, it absorbs vibrations while remaining playful for your butters and presses.

Key technical features

  • Profile: AR Freestyle Rocker (rocker at the tip and tail + camber underfoot).
  • Core: 100% poplar for an excellent compromise between lightness, pop, and stability.
  • Reinforcement: ash inserts under the bindings for better screw retention.
  • Edges: 2.5 Impact edges — reinforced treatment against impacts.
  • Base: S7 base — optimized for speed and durability.
  • Construction: Twin tip, versatile waist width (106 mm at the waist).

Performance on the snow

The rocker/camber combination provides natural lift in powder while maintaining reassuring grip on hard snow. The soft, balanced flex makes landings and maneuvers in the park easier, while retaining enough power for effective carving.

Design & identity

The MadSteez graphics pay homage to Armada's headquarters in the US and Austria—an aesthetic that perfectly matches the spirit of freestyle and exploration.

Who is it for?

The ARV 106 is for you if you're looking for a versatile ski: a powder lover who also wants to push it in the park, or an urban rider who wants a playful ski without sacrificing stability on the groomed slopes.

Highlights of the Armada ARV 106

  • True dual-purpose: park & powder.
  • Good float thanks to the rocker at the tip and tail.
  • Pop and responsiveness guaranteed by the poplar core.
  • Durable equipment: S7 base and reinforced edges.

Tips for choosing the position of your bindings:

FACTORY

The Factory mounting corresponds to the mark indicated on all Armada skis. It defines the recommended position of the center of your boot for the best all-mountain skiing performance. This positioning offers excellent floatation in deep snow, enhanced stability at high speeds, and very good precision in turns. On the other hand, it makes the ski a little less maneuverable and provides a slightly less balanced feel, especially in the air or when skiing switch.

Who is it for? This setup is for skiers with a traditional stance who ski mainly forward with strong pressure on the shin. It is particularly suitable for piste skiers, speed enthusiasts, and those looking for a directional ski that offers control and power.

FREESTYLE

The Freestyle mark is located further forward on the ski. It is designed for a more playful, freestyle-inspired style. This mounting offers increased maneuverability, a more balanced and natural feel in the air, and greater comfort when skiing switch. However, it slightly reduces lift in powder snow, stability at very high speeds, and carving performance.

Who is it for? It is ideal for skiers who prefer a more creative and freestyle approach, with a centered stance and less pressure on the front of the boot. It is perfect for park skiers and those looking for a fun and versatile ski for all-mountain skiing.
