Designed for women who hike in winter conditions, the Schöffel 3IN1 JACKET STYLE REFOCA WMN meets the demands of mountain outings where the weather can change quickly. Its 3-in-1 design combines a waterproof outer shell with a removable, padded inner jacket, offering true adaptability to varying temperatures. The Regular Fit and elastic inserts ensure freedom of movement without sacrificing protection.

Protection from the elements: the Dermizax®EV membrane at the heart of the Schöffel 3IN1 JACKET STYLE REFOCA WMN

The outer jacket features a 2-layer Dermizax®EV membrane, rated at a water column of 20,000 mm and an MVTR breathability rating of 20,000. In practical terms, this means the jacket effectively blocks rain and wind while allowing moisture produced by physical activity to escape, thereby limiting moisture buildup inside. The seams are fully taped with a high-performance membrane, eliminating the usual weak spots found on this type of garment. Ventilation openings complement this design, allowing you to regulate your body temperature during sustained climbs.

Adjustable insulation to adapt to any conditions

The removable inner jacket is padded with 90 g of Ceravida® Heat, a material designed to absorb and release body heat. It can be worn separately from the outer shell, offering a wider range of possible combinations depending on the season or the intensity of the activity. The hood, meanwhile, features PrimaLoft® Evolve insulation, providing targeted thermal protection for an area particularly exposed to cold and wind. The entire construction incorporates two-way stretch fabric that preserves freedom of movement, regardless of the layering combination chosen.

Design and Practical Details for Winter Hiking

The 70-cm back length ensures sufficient coverage of the lower back, an area often neglected in short technical jackets. Clothing designed for winter mountaineering must balance practicality and protection, and the REFOCA WMN features pockets designed for easy access even while wearing gloves. Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) certification attests to a commitment to responsible manufacturing conditions. Available in Dark Twilight, sizes 36 through 46, it weighs 938 g in the standard size—a reasonable balance for a 3-in-1 jacket with built-in insulation.
