Designed for female mountain athletes, the Millet KAMET GRID HD hooded fleece is ideal for mountaineering trips and demanding high-altitude activities. This women’s fleece prioritizes warmth retention and freedom of movement, featuring a slim fit and raglan sleeves. Its Italian Polartec® Power Grid fabric, made from recycled polyester, prioritizes breathability for back-to-back efforts on rock faces or glaciers. Every detail has been designed for functionality, in a modernized design featuring Millet’s current styling.

Thermal retention and breathability for mountaineering

The Millet KAMET GRID HD hooded fleece is designed for demanding mountain activities where heat and moisture management are essential. Its stretch POLARTEC® Powergrid fabric, made from 94% recycled polyester, offers effective insulation while promoting high breathability, keeping you dry during periods of exertion. This technical fabric moves with you while minimizing bulk, which is particularly appreciated during mountaineering or on challenging routes. Weighing just 342 g, it remains easy to wear all day long without feeling like a burden.

A feminine, active fit for great freedom of movement

The fitted, active cut of this women’s fleece is designed to move with the body without hindering technical movements. The raglan sleeve construction allows for a greater range of motion, which is useful during climbing sections or when handling ropes. Seamless underarm panels complement this design by reducing friction points, ensuring continuous comfort even when wearing a harness or backpack. The feminine cut prioritizes both ergonomics and a snug fit to optimize thermal efficiency.

Functional hood and protective collar for challenging terrain

The balaclava-style hood on the Millet KAMET GRID HD fleece can be worn under a helmet, making it easy to integrate into a layering system designed for mountaineering. Its fitted hood offers a panoramic view, allowing you to stay focused on the route without sacrificing head protection. The high collar provides extra protection for the neck, which is useful in exposed conditions or in cold, windy weather. The front zippered opening with a protective flap allows for easy ventilation adjustment while minimizing irritation from the zipper.

Practical features for rock climbing

Designed to integrate seamlessly into a full mountaineering kit, this hooded fleece features functional details to facilitate movement. The two zippered hand pockets are designed to remain accessible while wearing a harness, keeping essentials within reach even on the wall. Several zippered pockets complement these storage options to secure small items. The hem and cuffs, finished with a ribbed trim, help keep the fleece in place, minimizing drafts during movement. A Millet screen-print on the chest discreetly completes the look and fits the modernized design of this WINTER 2027 model.

With its Polartec® Power Grid fabric, active feminine cut, and helmet-compatible hood, the Millet KAMET GRID HD hooded fleece is positioned as a functional mid-layer for demanding mountaineering activities.
