Designed for expert skiers seeking a high-level carving experience, the Rossignol HERO MASTER LT R22 + SPX14 Silver Red binding package is built on a World Cup-inspired performance philosophy. This unisex set is designed for skiers seeking powerful edge grip on groomed runs and long, GS-style turns, with solid stability at high speeds. The R22 WC base and SPX 14 Rockerace GW bindings form a cohesive unit, designed to transmit every movement of the skier without delay.
The ski features a Full Camber profile, which promotes continuous edge-to-snow contact and a crisp acceleration out of turns. The Race World Cup construction combines a beech and ash wood core with a Full Titanal layer, complemented by fiberglass: this layered structure gives the ski controlled stiffness, capable of absorbing course irregularities without sacrificing directional precision. The sidecut of 115/70/97 mm, measured on the 179 cm length, defines a piste-oriented ski with a waist width of 70 mm, ideal for edge work on hard snow. The 19-meter turning radius confirms this model’s GS (giant slalom) focus.
Line Control Technology helps manage longitudinal stability: it reduces vibrations at high speeds and helps the ski stay on track even in demanding conditions. The Cascade Tip lightens the front end of the ski, which reduces dead weight at the tip and improves torsional control. The Oversized Sidecut enhances carving precision by increasing the active contact surface when the edge engages, while Prop Tech Technology optimizes power transfer between the skier and the snow. The Rectangular Full Sidewall construction ensures maximum edge grip on packed snow, and the Sintered UHD base guarantees smooth, long-lasting glide.
The SPX 14 Rockerace GW bindings round out the package with a DIN setting suited for advanced to expert skiers. Their design is aimed at instantaneous power transfer: every impulse from the ski is transmitted without delay, enhancing responsiveness in turns. The built-in shock absorption helps maintain control in technical sections without filtering out terrain feedback.
A few features are worth noting to help you choose the right length. The package is available in four ski lengths, with an approximate weight of 2,300 g per ski for the 179 cm length.
