Designed for women who face challenging mountain weather conditions, the Schoffel 2L Jacket Style Refoca WMN is ideal for hikers seeking waterproof protection combined with lightweight thermal insulation. Its 2-layer Dermizax®EV membrane, combined with PrimaLoft® Evolve insulation, makes this jacket ideal for long days on the move in cold, wet weather. The regular fit offers a balance between comfort and freedom of movement.
Waterproof Protection and Breathability of the 2L Jacket Style Refoca WMN
The Dermizax®EV membrane is the technical heart of this hiking jacket. With a water column rating of 20,000 mm and an MVTR breathability rating of 20,000 g/m²/24h, it effectively blocks precipitation while wicking away moisture generated by physical activity. The seams are fully taped, further enhancing the jacket’s overall waterproof integrity. To optimize temperature regulation during ascents, underarm ventilation zippers allow excess heat to escape quickly without having to remove the jacket.
Targeted thermal insulation for winter conditions
PrimaLoft® Evolve insulation is selectively integrated into strategically placed thermal zones. This approach concentrates warmth where it’s needed most, while keeping the jacket’s overall weight to 482 grams in the base size. The result is a lightweight, well-balanced jacket, ideal for long winter hikes in hiking gear.
Freedom of Movement and Practical Features
The polyamide outer fabric features two-way stretch technology that moves with you without restricting your silhouette. The adjustable hood, equipped with a chin guard, along with the hook-and-loop cuffs, allow you to fine-tune the fit depending on conditions. The jacket also features two zippered front pockets, a zippered chest pocket, and interior pockets, providing organized storage for essential gear on mountain outings.
