Mammut ALTO LIGHT 3 IN 1 HS HOODED JACKET WOMEN: versatile protection for all your outings

Designed to adapt to a wide range of conditions, the Mammut ALTO LIGHT 3 IN 1 HS HOODED JACKET WOMEN combines a waterproof 2.5-layer hardshell with a lightweight, removable insulated jacket. This 3-in-1 system allows you to adjust your level of protection and warmth based on the weather and the intensity of your activity. The membrane offers a carefully balanced blend of waterproof protection and breathability during your active hikes. You’ll enjoy a versatile hiking jacket designed for lasting comfort and reliability in the great outdoors.

Waterproofing and protection: a high-performance 2.5-layer hardshell

At the heart of the Mammut Alto Light 3-in-1 HS Hooded Jacket Women, the hardshell outer layer provides reliable protection against the elements with a waterproof rating of 15,000 mm. This rating ensures effective resistance to rain and snow, making it suitable for demanding hiking trips. With a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24h, the membrane limits internal moisture buildup and helps maintain a drier microclimate inside the jacket. The PFC-free durable water-repellent (DWR ) treatment on the outer shell promotes water runoff, enhancing comfort in wet conditions. Water-repellent zippers complete this moisture barrier, keeping your mid-layers better protected. Finally, the adjustable hood allows you to customize protection around your head and face when wind or precipitation intensifies.

Insulation and warmth: a zone-optimized removable liner

The removable inner jacket featuresMammut’s zoned LOOPINSULATION insulation, made from recycled rope scraps. This insulation is distributed at 100 g/m² across the torso to concentrate warmth where you need it most, and at 80 g/m² on the sleeves to maintain good arm mobility while keeping you warm. This design provides thermal comfort suited to cold conditions while minimizing bulk in areas of movement. Wearing both layers together offers complete protection against cold and moisture; separating the insulated jacket from the hardshell allows you to finely adjust yourinsulation level according to the season or the intensity of your hike.

Freedom of movement and temperature management

With a Regular Fit and a main fabric made of 50Dx50D recycled polyester, this jacket is designed to offer a good balance between comfort and support. The fabric, suited for outdoor activities, moves with you without excessive flapping or compression, promoting freedom of movement on both ascents and descents. Weighing just 617 g, it remains lightweight for a 3-in-1 jacket, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods. Underarm vents allow you to quickly regulate internal temperature and moisture during periods of intense exertion, complementing the breathable membrane. This gives you a versatile layering system capable of adapting to changes in your pace and the weather.

Functional Details and Hiking Use

Every detail of the Mammut ALTO LIGHT 3 IN 1 HS HOODED JACKET WOMEN is designed for efficient and practical hiking. The adjustable hood integrates easily into your outfit to protect you when conditions deteriorate. Water-repellent zippers limit water ingress at the openings while remaining easy to use. Underarm vents allow for quick adjustment of airflow, which is useful during long days on the trail. Its classification as a hiking jacket highlights a construction suited for walking, offering a cohesive system for WINTER outings. This gives you a technical jacket that you can configure to your needs, whether you wear just the hardshell, just the insulating layer, or both combined.

Eco-responsibility: recycled materials and PFC-free treatment

Environmental sustainability is one of this jacket’s key strengths. The recycled polyester used as the primary material reduces the need for virgin resources while maintaining the performance expected for outdoor activities. The Mammut LOOPINSULATION insulation, meanwhile, is made from recycled rope scraps, repurposing materials that would otherwise have gone to waste. Finally, the hardshell’s durable PFC-free water-repellent treatment reduces the use of perfluorinated compounds traditionally used for water repellency, while maintaining effective protection against moisture. These technical choices combine performance with a more responsible approach, without compromising on functionality during hikes.

With its modular 3-in-1 system, waterproof and breathable protection, and insulation made from recycled materials, the Mammut Alto Light 3 in 1 HS Hooded Jacket Women will keep you confident on your winter hikes, no matter the weather.
