The Mammut ALTO LIGHT 3 IN 1 HS HOODED JACKET WOMEN is designed for women seeking reliable protection for hiking and everyday use, all year round. This 3-in-1 hiking jacket combines a waterproof and breathable hardshell with a lightweight insulated jacket to easily adapt to changing weather conditions. Its versatile design allows you to adjust warmth and protection depending on your outing. Weighing just 617 g and featuring a Regular Fit, it offers a good balance between comfort and technical performance.
The Mammut Alto Light 3-in-1 HS Hooded Jacket for Women stands out for its 3-in-1 construction, which combines an outer hardshell with an inner insulated jacket via a zip-in system. This design allows you to use the hardshell alone, the insulated layer alone, or both together for complete protection against the elements. Suitable for both hiking and everyday use, these three configurations offer valuable adaptability when conditions change throughout the day or from one season to the next.
The outer layer of this hiking jacket is made from a 2.5-layer fabric with a durable, PFC-free water-repellent treatment, combined with a 15,000 mm water column for high-performance waterproofing. Breathability of 15,000 g/m²/24h supports your efforts on ascents and in hilly terrain by limiting internal moisture buildup. The front zipper and the zippers on the two side pockets are water-repellent, helping to keep your pockets dry in the event of a downpour. Underarm zippers provide targeted ventilation to quickly adjust airflow when the pace picks up.
The hardshell’s lightweight, stretchy fabric promotes freedom of movement, particularly useful on technical trails or during more challenging sections. The Regular Fit allows for easy layering while maintaining everyday comfort. The one-point adjustable hood adapts to your body shape, while the pre-shaped sleeves with Velcro closures improve fit on the forearms. The hem width is adjustable via a drawcord to limit air intake and stabilize the jacket while moving.
The inner jacket features zoned Mammut LOOPINSULATION insulation made from recycled polyester, with 100 g/m² on the body and 80 g/m² on the sleeves, to provide warmth where you need it most while keeping bulk to a minimum. Elasticated cuffs and hem contribute to a precise fit and better heat retention. Two zippered side pockets complete this insulating layer, practical for keeping hands warm or securing a few personal items while hiking or in everyday life.
The construction and materials of this 3-in-1 hiking jacket are designed to balance protection and versatility in outdoor settings.
