CRATER IV HS HOODED JACKET MEN: waterproof and breathable protection

The PFC-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane provides waterproof protection suitable for demanding outings, with a water column rating of 28,000 mm. The RET<13 m² Pa/W breathability helps better manage moisture during sustained exertion, making the jacket suitable for activities where intensity varies. This technical approach meets the needs of mountain activities that require both protection and comfort management during action.

Features designed for movement and use with gear

The helmet-compatible hood is adjustable both vertically and horizontally, allowing you to adapt the fit to the situation. MAMMUT High Reach technology promotes optimal freedom of movement, while the pre-shaped sleeves with Velcro closures ensure a precise fit at the wrists. The Regular Fit is part of this design philosophy focused on ease of movement.

Ventilation and storage tailored for active outings

The jacket features a water-resistant two-way Aquaguard front zipper and underarm ventilation with a water-resistant two-way zipper to accommodate varying levels of exertion. Two front pockets compatible with a climbing harness, both equipped with waterproof zippers, provide easy access to storage while wearing the harness. An interior zippered pocket completes the design, offering an additional secure storage space.

Precise adjustments for a snug fit

The hem width is adjustable with a drawcord, allowing you to fine-tune the fit at the bottom of the jacket as needed. Weighing 482 g, the CRATER IV HS HOODED JACKET MEN combines the essential features of a men’s hardshell jacket designed for alpine outings, hiking, and ski touring.
