Designed for long tours andwinter mountaineering, the Ortovox AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR 40 combines generous volume, advanced safety technology, and long-lasting comfort. Thanks to its fully electric LiTRIC airbag system, this pack offers reliable avalanche protection without a gas cartridge, for fast deployment and no complex maintenance.

Safety and LiTRIC technology

The LiTRIC system uses a USB-C rechargeable battery, giving this airbag backpack up to 2 deployments per charge and 60 hours of autonomy in walk mode. It remains functional even in extreme cold thanks to optimized thermal management. Lightweight (only 1.1 kg for the airbag module) and removable, it can be easily converted from a freeride backpack to a hiking backpack.

Optimized comfort and carrying

Designed to carry heavy loads, this hiking backpack features an adjustable Full Contact Light Back System, ensuring a stable, close fit. Ergonomic shoulder straps, a padded waist belt and intelligent weight distribution ensure optimal comfort on long ascents.

Smart organization

With a capacity of 40 liters, the LiTRIC TOUR 40 offers enough space for multi-day trips: a spacious main compartment, zippered pockets on the waist belt, a dedicated pocket for avalanche safety equipment (shovel and probe), and a attachment system for skis, snowboards, ice axes, and poles. Front and side access allow for easy retrieval of equipment.
