This device operates using supercapacitors and a turbo radial fan, with mechanical deployment and deflation. It requires neither a gas cartridge nor a Li-ion battery, eliminating any restrictions when traveling by plane or on expeditions. It recharges in 20 minutes via USB-C, or in 40 minutes using two standard AA batteries, and an LCD screen displays the charge level in real time. The system weighs 1,140 g, bringing the total weight of the pack and system to approximately 2,720 g; the pack alone weighs 1,580 g.

Versatile Carrying for Skiing and Snowboarding

The bSPINE EVO back system ensures even weight distribution and support for the back, with adjustable shoulder straps and a chest strap featuring a built-in emergency whistle. For carrying gear, the Pack Patrol E2 30 Kit SL features a diagonal ski-carrying system, an A-frame ski carrier, and a front snowboard carrier with compression straps, as well as retractable mounts for an ice axe and poles. A retractable helmet holder rounds out these features, making the pack compatible with a wide variety of terrain conditions.

Organization and Materials for Mountain Outings

The main access is from the top via a zipper closure. The interior organization includes a dedicated compartment for safety gear with organizational pockets, a zippered pocket on top, a zippered pocket on the front, a zippered pocket for safety tools, and two zippered pockets on the hip belt. A dedicated compartment for a mask is also included, along with compression straps. Emergency safety instructions are printed directly on the bag. The bag is constructed from CORDURA® fabric, known for its resistance to tearing, scuffing, and abrasion, with a 100% polyamide shell and recycled polyester overlays.
