Salomon XA PRO WP Junior Trail Running Shoes for Confident Outdoor Adventures

Designed for trail running and running in a junior version, the Salomon XA PRO WP Junior Trail Running Shoes offer a platform suited for runs on trails, forest paths, or more uneven terrain. The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole is designed to provide effective traction on various surfaces, ensuring secure footing for young runners. With a 6 mm heel-to-toe drop and a weight of 270 g, the shoe strikes a balance between ground feel and stability, making it well-suited for runners who are just discovering trail running or looking to improve their skills. The low-cut synthetic and textile upper supports the foot’s natural roll while offering a structure sturdy enough for regular outdoor use.

Waterproof protection and interior comfort for the winter season

For runs in wet conditions—typical of the WINTER collection—these junior trail running shoes feature a waterproof Adv.DRY membrane designed to limit water penetration and protect the foot from the elements. This membrane works in conjunction with a water-repellent synthetic and textile upper, which helps ensure the upper’s durability against splashes and wet soil. Inside, the breathable textile lining and the contoured OrthoLite® insole contribute to a comfortable feel by conforming to the contours of the foot and enhancing cushioning. The combination of EnergyCell™ technology in the midsole and this insole is designed to make impacts more manageable for young athletes, especially during extended runs on trails or hikes.

Precise support, quick lacing, and foot protection

The Salomon XA PRO WP junior trail shoes utilize SensiFit™ technology to provide a precise fit around the foot, from the midsole to the lacing system. This fit is complemented by the Quicklace™ lacing system, which allows for quick and even tightening in a single motion—convenient for young users before a hike or training session. A protective toe cap reinforces the front of the shoe to minimize the impact of small obstacles like rocks or debris on the trails. All of these technical features are designed to provide young athletes with footwear that is stable, comfortable, and protective for their outdoor activities.

The Salomon XA PRO WP junior trail running shoes combine Adv.DRY waterproofing, an All Terrain Contagrip® outsole, and EnergyCell™ cushioning in a model designed for young adventurers from the WINTER collection.
