Armada ARV 106 ski pack + bindings
The Armada ARV 106 is made for you if you like to switch between terrains without a second thought. A true all-mountain twin, this model is just as at home in fresh powder as it is during your freestyle sessions, with consistently lively, forgiving, and ultra-fun performance.
From the very first turns, you'll enjoy remarkable float in deep snow, while retaining enough power to land your jumps cleanly. Its soft, balanced flex immediately puts you at ease, ideal for carving, weaving between trees, slashing or stringing together butters with disconcerting ease.
A profile designed for playing anywhere
Thanks to the AR Freestyle Rocker, the tips and tail offer a soft and progressive rocker that helps you float, pivot, and link maneuvers effortlessly. The poplar core, reinforced with ash under the bindings, provides lightness, strength, and a very pleasant bounce underfoot.
The 2.5 Impact edges, S7 base, and W3DGEWALL sidewalls guarantee good impact resistance and ideal durability for riding all season long, even if you like to explore slightly more challenging lines.
Why you'll love the Armada ARV 106
- Total versatility: their wide waist and twin tip construction allow you to go from the park to powder areas without compromise. Natural obstacles, trail edges, forest or modules... they can handle it all.
- Black Edition style: this sleek, modern design retains the playful DNA of the ARV range while adding a touch of understated style that you'll love.
- High-speed stability: the progressive rocker and smooth flex absorb vibrations to give you a smooth ride even when you're really picking up speed. Perfect for going hard without losing control.
The ARMADA ARV 106 is the perfect ski if you're looking for a model that can do it all, with a fun spirit and great ease of handling. A true quiver in itself, tailored for skiers who love to explore the mountain in all its dimensions.
Tips for choosing the position of your bindings:
FACTORY
The Factory mounting corresponds to the mark indicated on all Armada skis. It defines the recommended position of the center of your boot for the best all-mountain skiing performance. This positioning offers excellent floatation in deep snow, enhanced stability at high speeds, and very good precision in turns. On the other hand, it makes the ski a little less maneuverable and provides a slightly less balanced feel, especially in the air or when skiing switch.
Who is it for? This setup is for skiers with a traditional stance who ski mainly forward with strong pressure on the shin. It is particularly suitable for piste skiers, speed enthusiasts, and those looking for a directional ski that offers control and power.
FREESTYLE
The Freestyle mark is located further forward on the ski. It is designed for a more playful, freestyle-inspired style. This mounting offers increased maneuverability, a more balanced and natural feel in the air, and greater comfort when skiing switch. However, it slightly reduces lift in powder snow, stability at very high speeds, and carving performance.
Who is it for? It is ideal for skiers who prefer a more creative and freestyle approach, with a centered stance and less pressure on the front of the boot. It is perfect for park skiers and those looking for a fun and versatile ski for all-mountain skiing.
