An X ULTRA 360 GTX hiking boot focused on traction and stability

The X ULTRA 360 GTX hiking boots are designed to provide consistent traction on a variety of surfaces thanks to the All Terrain Contagrip® outsole, engineered for mixed trails and easy terrain. This outsole is designed to maintain reliable traction as the soil shifts between dry, wet, hard, or loose conditions, helping you maintain control while hiking. Inside, the Advanced Chassis™ is engineered to provide lateral stability that secures the foot’s roll, while preserving the freedom of movement necessary for a natural stride. The rock guard and protective mudguard round out this design by minimizing impacts and debris on the forefoot and sole.

Cushioned comfort and foot support for long hikes

To support extended outings, these shoes feature a high-performance EnergyCell™ EVA midsole, designed to provide effective cushioning and absorb the repetitive impacts inherent in hiking. This focus on cushioning is supported by a molded OrthoLite® insole, whose density and shape contribute to a comfortable fit and arch support. The 10 mm heel-to-toe drop, combined with a 24 mm heel height and a 14 mm forefoot height, contributes to a sole profile suited for walking, balancing a sense of stability with a natural stride. The SensiFit™ upper construction, which wraps around the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, provides precise support, while the welded upper minimizes seams to offer a more seamless fit around the foot.

Waterproof protection and recycled materials for serious outdoor use

The GORE-TEX membrane integrated into the X ULTRA 360 GTX hiking boots is designed to provide lasting waterproofing, keeping your feet dry when the weather turns bad or trails remain wet. This membrane works in tandem with a soft, breathable textile lining that helps manage internal moisture to maintain comfort during activity. The recycled textile upper, made with up to 50% recycled materials, reflects a more sustainable approach, further reinforced by the use of recycled electrical cables in the midsole and a PFC-free design. Reinforcements at the toes and a protective mudguard are designed to improve durability in high-wear areas, while protecting the foot from impacts and friction against obstacles on the trail.

A Quicklace™ lacing system designed for practicality on hikes

The Quicklace™ lacing system on the X ULTRA 360 GTX hiking boots allows for quick and even tightening of the foot in a single motion, making it easy to adjust the fit throughout your hike. This slim, durable lacing system is complemented by a lace pocket, which provides a dedicated storage space to prevent snags and discomfort caused by loose lace ends while walking. Combined with the SensiFit™ construction, this system helps ensure a secure fit, limiting unwanted foot movement inside the shoe for better control on the trails. Weighing approximately 372 g per shoe, this men’s WINTER model falls into the category of low-cut hiking boots that aim to balance support, protection, and maneuverability.
