The new Petzl Bindi

Headlamp specialist Petzl has just launched the Bindi. An ultra-lightweight headlamp with a lot going for it.

Weighing in at just 35g, this lamp fits comfortably in the hand, and despite its compact size, it shines quite brightly. With its 200 lumens, you can really envisage using it for evening training sessions. Its full-power autonomy is two hours. Not enough to stay out all night, but perfect when you need to carry a spare lamp in your bag. With the less powerful modes (including red light), you can get up to 50 hours.

This Petzl Bindi is charged via USB. Unfortunately, you can't change the battery. The lanyard allows you to wear it around your neck, and when you turn it over, it switches to lock mode to prevent accidental switching on.
