The STANCE 80 features a three-part profile: 15% rocker at the tip, 73% central camber, and 12% rocker at the tail. This distribution enhances grip and energy transfer during turns on hard snow, while making it easier to initiate and exit turns off-piste. The 14-meter turning radius for the 169-cm length gives this ski a dynamic character, well-suited for short to medium turns. The 124/80/106 mm sidecut on this same length confirms a balanced all-mountain geometry—neither too narrow for soft conditions nor too wide to sacrifice agility on flat terrain.

The poplar wood core, known as the Poplar Woodcore, provides lightness, responsiveness, and a certain degree of forgiveness for edge placement errors—a quality appreciated by skiers looking to improve their skills. Titanal inserts and a Ti-C Frame structure incorporating carbon windows further reinforce the design: Titanal improves edge grip and accelerates energy transfer to the wide steel edges, while carbon helps keep the weight down without sacrificing stiffness. The Semi-Sandwich Sidewalls construction rounds out the package by providing good lateral support during aggressive turns. Reinforced tip and tail guards ensure increased durability against everyday impacts.

M11 GW bindings and the Easytrak plate: optimized energy transfer

The package includes M11 GW bindings mounted on a one-piece Easytrak plate, a SYS commercial system that integrates skis, plate, and bindings into a calibrated unit. The wider platform of the M11 GW bindings improves force transfer between the boot and the ski, reducing energy loss during consecutive turns. Weighing approximately 1,930 g per ski (169 cm long, without bindings), the STANCE 80 remains within reasonable dimensions for intensive daily use across the entire ski area.
