Elan WINGMAN 86 BLACK EDITION Ski Set + Bindings

The Elan Wingman 86 Black Edition is positioned as the high-end all-mountain ski in the Wingman line, designed for intermediate-to-advanced and expert skiers looking for a versatile ski that performs equally well on groomed runs and in mixed snow conditions.

This ski stands out for its premium construction, combining a Tubelite Woodcore (a laminated wood core with two longitudinal carbon tubes) with a Mono Ti construction (a layer of titanal) and unidirectional carbon reinforcements positioned asymmetrically using Power Line technology. This architecture provides exceptional stability at high speeds while maintaining a certain lightness and good responsiveness.

The Amphibio profile is another major advantage: each ski is specific (right/left) with a cambered inner edge for precision and grip, and a rockered outer edge for easy handling and smooth transition out of turns. The 15-meter turning radius on the 168 cm model makes it a ski geared toward medium to long turns, ideal for carving on the piste while remaining maneuverable enough to explore light off-piste terrain.

With an 85 mm waist on the 168 cm model and a sidecut of 131-85-111 mm, this ski offers a balance between precision on hard snow and float in soft snow. The sintered base ensures excellent glide, while SST (Slanted Sidewall) technology provides direct power transfer and high torsional stiffness.
