Elan WINGMAN 83 TI Ski Set + Bindings

The Elan Wingman 83 Ti in 168 cm is an all-mountain, piste-oriented alpine ski designed for intermediate to expert skiers seeking precise and dynamic handling. Its 83 mm waist facilitates quick transitions from one edge to the other, while its 14-meter turning radius allows for a series of short to medium-length turns.

The manufacturer describes it as a narrower, faster version of the Wingman, designed to prioritize carving and edge control. The Mono Ti/UD Carbon reinforcement improves power transfer and responsiveness, while the laminated wood core adds energy to the ski. SST (Slanted Sidewall Technology) is said to ensure direct power transfer and good torsional stiffness.

The Amphibio profile combines a cambered inner edge—designed to enhance grip and stability—with an outer edge featuring a rocker that promotes easy turn initiation and maneuverability. The Wingman 83 Ti is therefore primarily suited for groomed runs, while still being capable of handling more varied terrain. However, it is positioned as a versatile carving ski rather than a model dedicated to powder or backcountry skiing.
