The Faction DANCER 79 BUNDLE is a unisex ski set designed for intermediate to expert skiers looking for a versatile ski that performs equally well on groomed runs and all-mountain terrain. With a waist width of 79 mm and a turning radius of 17 m, it offers precise carving performance while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility. The poplar wood core and Titanal reinforcements make it a ski that’s both responsive and stable on groomed snow.
The DANCER 79’s geometry features a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile with a camber-dominant design, including progressive rocker at the tip and tail. This profile promotes edge grip underfoot during carving, while making it easier to initiate and exit turns. The 17-meter radius, combined with sidecut dimensions of 118-79-107 mm, places this ski in a piste- and all-mountain-oriented category, capable of adapting to varied conditions without sacrificing precision.
The DANCER 79’s sandwich construction combines a poplar wood core with two layers of Titanal, a metal alloy known for its ability to dampen vibrations and deliver energy upon exiting a turn. Full Strength Sidewalls enhance lateral stability, while the 2.5 mm XL steel edges ensure solid grip on hard snow. The UHMW Sintered base rounds out the package by offering smooth glide and enhanced durability. The stiff flex, rated between 7 and 8 out of 10, is ideal for skiers who want to actively engage their skis and transfer their energy with precision.
Two integrated technologies refine the ski’s performance in real-world conditions. Elliptical Sidecut technology allows the turning radius to adjust based on the edge angle, offering greater adaptability depending on the pace and type of turn being executed. Moustache Flex technology, meanwhile, helps absorb shocks on uneven terrain, making the ski less tiring on long days. These two features work together to broaden the ski’s range of use without compromising its technical character.
The DANCER 79 BUNDLE is available in four lengths and comes with bindings included. Here are the key features to note:
