Designed for expert female skiers, the Dynastar M-CROSS W 88 OPEN is an all-mountain freeride ski tailored for those who want to excel on both groomed runs and off-piste terrain. With an 87 mm waist, it offers a balance between precision in turns and floatation on varied snow conditions. Its Full Sidewall Sandwich construction and Hybrid Core 2.0 make it a technical ski that meets the demands of the most dedicated female skiers.

The Dynastar M-CROSS W 88 OPEN: a construction designed for performance

The Hybrid Core 2.0 combines poplar and polyurethane in a tri-directional laminate. This combination reduces the need for additional fiberglass layers while maintaining a level of stiffness suitable for expert skiing. The result is a responsive ski capable of transmitting pressure with precision without adding unnecessary weight. The Full Sandwich Sidewall construction enhances edge grip on hard snow—a quality that’s particularly noticeable when skiing on icy slopes or at the end of the day. The H-Tech reinforcement, positioned in the center of the ski, improves torsional stiffness and enhances responsiveness during edge changes.

A directional profile for smooth turns on all terrains

The M-CROSS W 88 OPEN’s directional rocker makes it easier to initiate turns from the tip while maintaining a central camber that ensures power during the pressure phase. The sidecut, with a 134 mm tip and 116 mm tail, allows you to tackle deep snow sections without sacrificing maneuverability on the piste. Adaptive Sidecuts technology contributes to smooth, intuitive transitions between the different phases of the turn, which translates to a less tiring skiing experience on long, technical days. Available in 158 and 167 cm, the ski adapts to a variety of body types while maintaining the same performance characteristics.

Base and weight: practical data for the slopes

The HD sintered base ensures good wax absorption and long-lasting glide, reducing the need for service visits. The stated total weight of 1.65 kg for the standard 158 cm length is consistent with the ski’s construction, without compromising its responsiveness during rapid direction changes. These features position the M-CROSS W 88 OPEN as a performance-oriented alpine ski, suitable for female skiers seeking versatile equipment without compromising on precision.
