The Faction Studio 3 features a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile: a 400-mm rocker tip and a 360-mm raised tail (for the 184-cm size) frame a 2-mm central camber. This combination allows the tip to naturally rise to the surface in powder, reducing the effort required to initiate turns while maintaining, thanks to the central camber, a minimum level of grip and responsiveness when the terrain narrows. On hard snow, the ski remains rideable, though its true element is clearly fresh snow and open slopes.

The construction of the Faction Studio 3 skis is based on a poplar wood core, a wood known for its good balance between lightness and vibration damping. The Full Strength Sidewalls ensure direct power transfer from the skier’s weight to the edge, which is especially useful when the snow compacts or the terrain hardens. Also worth noting is the Anti-Chip Micro-Cap technology, which protects the tips and tails of the ski from the impacts and chips that are common in the backcountry.
