ORTOVOX AVABAG LITRIC FREERIDE 26S airbag backpack

Ortovox AVABAG LiTRIC Freeride 26 S – Built-in electrical safety

The Ortovox AVABAG LiTRIC Freeride 26 S introduces a new level of freeride safety with its LiTRIC electronic airbag system: lightweight, reliable, and rechargeable via USB-C, it eliminates cartridges, weighing, and transport constraints. The result? A compact airbag backpack that is both high-performance and ergonomic.

Modularity & adaptability in the field

This model is based on a compact, short-back BASE that adjusts perfectly to all body types thanks to the CLASP BACK SYSTEM and its flexible back pads. The ankle is held in place by the wide waist belt, while offering great freedom of movement. It is compatible with the CLASP SPINE back protector for added protection during your ski tours.

Optimized for technical freeriding

The AVABAG LiTRIC Freeride 26 S offers sturdy attachments for skis, snowboards, ice axes, snowshoes, and helmets. Access is quick from the front, and the inner pocket for safety equipment keeps your shovel and probe within easy reach. Compression straps, a light compartment, and an integrated hydration system demonstrate its demanding field orientation.

Reliable, autonomous electronic safety

The airbag is triggered via an intuitive handle, and an LED display indicates the charge level. The system recharges in 25 minutes, offers 60 hours of autonomy in active mode, and allows several test triggers at no additional cost. It remains operational from -30°C to +45°C, to withstand all conditions.

Sustainable and committed design

PFC-free, the base bag is climate neutral and complies with the strictest environmental standards. Built to last, it demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental responsibility without compromising on performance or safety.
