A strong personality, accessible performance

The Black Crows CAPTIS BIRDIE stands out for its playful yet undemanding character: it combines freestyle heritage with a construction designed for all slopes and moderate off-piste skiing. Its waist width (90 mm) offers an excellent compromise between floatation and responsiveness, while its forgiving construction makes it enjoyable from the very first turns.

Incisive and playful, this ski likes to be guided: it holds its edge well for carving thanks to a tight sidecut and an 18 m radius that facilitates short, precise turns. The double rocker improves maneuverability and pivoting, making quick transitions easier and more fluid.

The classic medium camber underfoot ensures balanced ski/snow contact: enough stability for speed, enough responsiveness to give dynamism to your turns.

Comfort and versatility

The flex is deliberately forgiving and comfortable, ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to progress without sacrificing fun. On and off the piste, the CAPTIS BIRDIE remains accessible and predictable.

Construction & Materials

Built in semi-cap construction with a poplar core reinforced with fiberglass, this ski combines liveliness and vibration absorption. The ABS edges all around guarantee good durability and secure grip on hard snow.
