The carrying system is at the heart of this winter backpack’s design. It allows for vertical carrying of a snowboard, with the option to switch to horizontal carrying as needed. Skis and splitboards can be carried diagonally thanks to a built-in deployable system, which facilitates transitions between ascents and descents. The main compartment features dedicated sleeves for snow tools, while an external mount holds a snow shovel without taking up any of the backpack’s usable volume.

Back Comfort and Body Support

The padded back panel made of breathable mesh helps limit heat buildup during sustained exertion. The ergonomic, padded shoulder straps distribute the load evenly, and the 25-mm webbing hip belt, featuring stabilizing fins, ensures a stable fit on rugged terrain. The outer shell is made of 600D recycled diamond ripstop polyester and 600D recycled coated polyester, two fabrics chosen for their resistance to abrasion and the elements. The outer fabric consists of 97% recycled polyester and 3% conventional polyester, while the lining combines 57% recycled polyester with 43% polyester. The bag weighs 1.01 kg and measures 48 x 35 x 5 cm, placing it in the lightweight category for backcountry use.
