Jones SNB Women's Rally Cat Snowboard

A versatile freeride snowboard designed for experienced female riders

The Jones SNB Women’s Rally Cat is a board designed for experienced female riders who want to explore the entire mountain—from the park to natural slopes to all-mountain runs. Its versatile freeride design makes it a solid choice for riders looking for a single board capable of adapting to varied terrain without sacrificing riding enjoyment. Fun and maneuverable, it encourages riders to improve and push their limits with confidence, regardless of snow conditions. Its directional twin design strikes a balance between versatility and downhill performance, ideal for riders looking to diversify their riding style.

Flex and Camber: Controlled Responsiveness for an Engaging Ride

The Jones Women’s Rally Cat features a classic “Full Camber” profile, which ensures solid edge grip and precise energy return with every turn. This profile promotes control at speed and precision in turns—two qualities particularly valued on the varied terrain this board is designed for. The soft-to-medium flex—rated 2 out of 5 on the Friendly & Playful scale—offers a forgiving ride that compensates for minor mistakes while remaining responsive enough for riders looking to push their skills. This flex level is well-suited for an experienced rider looking to improve across the entire ski area.

Directional twin shape and short radius: versatility and maneuverability

The Women’s Rally Cat’s directional twin shape combines the advantages of a downhill-oriented board with the symmetry of a twin, allowing you to ride both regular and switch without sacrificing comfort. The slight stance setback (0.8 inches) positions the rider slightly toward the rear, promoting float in fresh snow and making it easier to initiate turns on the piste. The short radius of curvature enhances maneuverability, making the board responsive and agile in technical sections or tight spaces in the park. It’s this combination of shape and geometry that gives the Women’s Rally Cat its playful yet responsive character.

Construction and Materials: Lightweight and Durable for Peak Performance

The construction of the Jones SNB Women’s Rally Cat is based on several complementary technologies worth highlighting:

• Master Core (Paulownia and Poplar): a combination of two lightweight woods that reduces the board’s weight while maintaining good structural stiffness.
• Biaxial Fiberglass Laminate (Biax Fiberglass): a 45-degree weave that provides flexibility and forgiveness, complementing the board’s soft-to-medium flex.
• Sintered 8000 Base: an ultra-high-density polyethylene sintered base that absorbs wax better and offers good glide in a variety of conditions.
• 3D Contour Base: a contoured base geometry that improves floatation on soft snow and reduces vibrations at high speeds.
• Medium Traction Tech: micro-serrations on the effective edges that improve grip on hard or icy snow without adding weight to the board.

The board is also Fair Trade certified and made with sustainable materials, reflecting the brand’s environmental and social commitment.

Setup: Standard compatibility for a flexible configuration

The Women’s Rally Cat features a 2x4 insert system, compatible with standard 2x4 disc bindings. This format is the most common in the snowboard binding market, giving you great freedom in choosing and positioning your bindings, with precise adjustment of stance width.

The Jones SNB Women’s Rally Cat is designed for experienced female riders looking for a truly versatile all-mountain board capable of handling the park, groomed runs, and off-piste adventures without major compromises. Its meticulous construction, accessible flex, and directional twin shape make it a well-rounded board for riders who want to improve and explore without having to switch boards depending on the terrain.
