The Nitro OG Team Guest Shaper Project Wide is a limited-edition board born from a collaboration between six iconic Nitro riders: Fabien Rohrer, Seth Neary, Lukas Goller, Max Plötzeneder, Tom Eberharter, and Jonas Hagström. Designed for experienced riders looking to reinterpret snowboarding with a creative and versatile approach, this board blends the heritage of traditional shapes with the demands of contemporary all-mountain freestyle. The Wide version features a wider stance for greater ease and riding comfort, without sacrificing precision. It’s designed for riders who want a board capable of handling everything the mountain has to offer, from snowpark features to open slopes.

A Twin-Directional shape for versatile freestyle riding across the entire mountain

The Nitro OG Team Guest Shaper Project Wide features a Twin Directional shape—a thoughtful compromise between the symmetry of a pure twin and the orientation of a directional shape. This geometry allows for natural and fluid switch riding while maintaining a slightly downhill-oriented feel. The Dual Degressive Sidecut refines the progression of edge engagement: the carving arcs vary along the edge length, making edge transitions smoother on entry and more precise on exit. Available in 158 cm, this board is suited for riders whose build is better suited to the Wide version, whose extra waist width reduces the risk of heel strike or coming out of the binding during aggressive edging.

A stiff flex for responsiveness and power

With a flex rating of 8 out of 10, the Nitro OG Team Guest Shaper Project Wide clearly falls into the category of lively, responsive boards. This level of stiffness is suited for experienced riders capable of loading the board with precision: it promotes direct energy transfer to the edges, crisp pop on jumps, and increased stability at high speeds. The camber profile chosen is Trüe Camber, a classic continuous camber that maximizes grip on hard snow, amplifies energy return when exiting turns, and enhances the feeling of control on demanding slopes. This profile is paired with the Reflex Core Profile to optimize stress distribution along the core.

A lightweight and durable construction designed for performance

The construction of the Nitro OG Team Guest Shaper Project Wide is based on several complementary material choices:

• Powerlite Core: an ultra-lightweight, carefully selected poplar wood core that reduces the board’s weight without compromising its structural stiffness.
• Bi-Lite Laminates: bidirectional fiberglass laminates that ensure consistent responsiveness in both torsion and flex.
• Sintered Speed Formula II Base: a sintered base with high wax absorption for long-lasting glide and easy maintenance.
• ABS Sidewalls (35% recycled polymers): shock-absorbing sidewalls that protect the core from lateral impacts while incorporating an eco-friendly approach.
• Recycled Steel Edge: Edges made from recycled steel that provide reliable grip on groomed or icy snow.

Mounting and Binding Compatibility

The 2x4 insert system allows you to precisely adjust the spacing and angle of your bindings to suit your riding style. This board is compatible with standard 2x4 plates as well as the Burton Channel system thanks to the Nitro Mini Disc, which expands your mounting options depending on the equipment you have.

The Nitro OG Team Guest Shaper Project Wide is designed for the experienced rider looking for a board that’s both aggressive and versatile, capable of handling everything from the moguls in the snowpark to the long turns on an open run. Its stiff flex, classic camber, and meticulous construction make it a well-rounded tool for those who want to push their all-mountain freestyle riding without compromising on responsiveness.
