A freeride profile tailored for powder and steep terrain

The Fastlane features a Backseat Camber profile, a geometry that shifts the center of gravity toward the rear of the board to promote natural float in deep snow. Combined with the Tapered Directional shape and its tapered pin tail, this profile guides the board through turns with precision while keeping the tip afloat when riding through fresh powder. The quadratic sidecut rounds out the package, ensuring smooth transitions from one edge to the other without breaking the line of the turn.

The Salomon Fastlane snowboard features an Aero Core made of Aspen SLCT and enhanced with Popster technology, which gives the board a natural flex and crisp energy return when exiting turns. B/FX Ultra technology, combining basalt and flax, enhances cushioning and stability by absorbing vibrations on uneven terrain. The entire structure is built on FSC-certified wood, including balsa and poplar, ensuring traceable sourcing of raw materials.

Eco-friendly materials integrated into the construction

The Fastlane’s construction incorporates several material choices designed to reduce environmental impact. The sidewalls are made from 100% recycled ABS, the edges contain 20% recycled material, and the sintered base is composed of 50% recycled materials. The resins used are 30% organic. The inclusion of cork in the Damplifier, positioned on the nose, also helps absorb shocks in the areas subject to the most stress. These choices do not compromise technical performance: they are integrated into a construction designed to withstand harsh winter conditions.
