With the 27 PRIME CHROMA WIDE, Nitro offers a unisex board designed for riders looking to improve, whether they’re tackling their first turns or seeking to refine their technique on varied terrain. Its Cam-Out Camber profile, combining rocker and hybrid camber, gives it a character that’s both responsive and forgiving, making it easier to learn without sacrificing responsiveness. The Wide version, meanwhile, meets the needs of riders with larger feet by reducing tip-to-tail friction during aggressive turns.

A Cam-Out Camber profile to help you progress on the 27 PRIME CHROMA WIDE

The Cam-Out Camber profile is based on a Trüe camber with smooth, early transitions toward the nose and tail. In practice, this results in a board that forgives positioning errors without losing precision during linked turns. The radial sidecut reinforces this versatility: predictable and reliable, it suits both beginners finding their footing and intermediate riders looking to improve on groomed or off-piste terrain. The directional twin shape, which is geometrically symmetrical, allows you to ride in both directions with the same comfort, while maintaining a slight orientation for better stability at speed.

A wood core and laminates for a refined feel

The Powercore, made of poplar wood from tip to tail, offers a lightweight and uniform structure. This choice of material ensures consistent flex along the entire length of the board, with a responsive feel that remains accessible—offering a soft-to-medium flex rated 5 out of 10. The Bi-Lite Laminates complement this structure with a bidirectional layup that ensures balanced stress distribution, resulting in a more precise ride and consistent performance on any terrain. The ABS sidewalls absorb impacts and protect the core, while the recycled steel edges provide solid, durable grip, reflecting a concrete commitment to the environment.

An easy-to-maintain base for riding more often

The Premium Extruded FH Base was chosen for its practical qualities: durability, decent glide, and low maintenance requirements. For riders who are just starting out or who don’t want to wax their board frequently, this is a real everyday advantage. The 2x4 insert system offers broad compatibility with most bindings on the market, allowing plenty of freedom to adjust stance positions.
