Salomon DANCEHAUL Snowboard Set + Bindings

The Salomon DANCEHAUL snowboard is a unisex board designed for experienced riders looking to explore freeride and all-mountain terrain with a certain degree of freedom. Its volume-shifted design allows you to ride a shorter board than usual without sacrificing float in powder or stability on the trail. With its Rock Out Camber hybrid camber and directional design, it’s ideal for riders who want a responsive board that performs equally well in fresh snow and on varied terrain.

A volume-shifted profile for freeriding on the Salomon DANCEHAUL snowboard

The DANCEHAUL’s volume-shifted design is based on a tapered directional shape: the nose is wider than the tail, which enhances float in powder and naturally guides the board forward. This geometry allows you to ride a smaller size than is usually recommended, resulting in a more responsive ride that’s easier to initiate turns with, without sacrificing float in deep snow. Its ideal terrain remains freeride and all-mountain, with a board capable of adapting to the changing conditions of a day on the mountain.

Hybrid camber and balanced flex for a variety of riding styles

The Rock Out Camber combines the advantages of traditional camber underfoot—for responsiveness and grip on hardpack—with rocker zones at the tips that make it easier to initiate turns and reduce the risk of snagging in powder. The medium flex, rated around 3 out of 5, offers a balance between technical precision and forgiveness, making it a great fit for intermediate-to-advanced riders looking to improve their skills on challenging terrain without having to deal with a board that’s too stiff to handle.

Materials Selected for Responsiveness and Durability

The selected aspen wood core (Aspen SLCT) ensures lightness and responsiveness, while the BA MD Fiberglass laminates provide stiffness and dynamism to the entire structure. The Ghost Basalt Stringers, inserted lengthwise into the core, enhance the board’s responsiveness and improve power transfer without adding weight. BioBased 30 resin, partially derived from bio-based materials, is used in the manufacture of the laminates. The Sintered base, known for its rapid wax absorption and long-lasting glide, completes a construction designed for long-term performance.

Technical features for precise handling on all terrains

The radial sidecut promotes smooth transitions from edge to edge, suited to both the wide turns of freeride and the tighter turns of all-mountain riding. The All Mountain EB Edge Finishing treatment improves grip when turning on soft-pack or groomed snow, while the Fine Stone Finish on the base optimizes glide in a variety of conditions. The ABS Suspension, integrated into the board’s shell, helps absorb vibrations on rough terrain. The 4x2 insert pattern offers a wide range of positioning options to precisely tailor the bindings to your body type and riding style.

The Salomon DANCEHAUL snowboard is available in sizes 154 and 157 to accommodate riders of different builds while maintaining the volume-shifted design specific to this model.
