The Salomon XA SUPERMATIC CASTOR GRAY snowboard binding is designed for intermediate to advanced unisex riders looking for a snowboard binding that combines comfort, safety, and a smooth ride. Its automatic system with a fold-down highback makes it easy to step into, while its dual-entry design also allows for traditional use depending on your preferences. The model is designed for a secure ride without sacrificing the feel of the board.

The Salomon XA SUPERMATIC CASTOR GRAY Snowboard Binding and Its Dual-Entry System

The XA SUPERMATIC stands out for its automatic system complemented by a dual entry mechanism, allowing riders to switch between modes depending on their desired riding style. The fold-down XA Supermatic® highback facilitates easy entry, while the LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock ratchet ensures a secure hold. This design is intended to simplify use on the snow, with quick entry and intuitive operation.

MicroMax adjustments and tool-free strap adjustments provide precise tuning, making it easy to customize the binding without excessive fiddling. The hybrid ankle-to-toe strap rounds out the package by ensuring structured foot support within the binding.

A technical construction designed to preserve the feel of the board

The Supermatic® baseplate is made of a nylon composite with 30% fiberglass, a material choice that contributes to a more supportive feel underfoot. The 2.5° -angled sole and the XA Supermatic® cushion contribute to the overall ergonomics of the system, with support designed to enhance the ride without compromising the feel. The medium-to-stiff flex aligns with the product’s intended use, with performance geared toward more aggressive riding styles.

Universal compatibility for easy setup

The Salomon XA SUPERMATIC CASTOR GRAY snowboard binding features a universal system compatible with all snowboard boots and boards. The universal disc andIMS (Integrated Mounting System) make installation easier by keeping the screws in place during adjustments. This broad compatibility allows the binding to be integrated into various setups without complicating the installation process.

The Salomon XA SUPERMATIC CASTOR GRAY snowboard binding thus combines automatic entry, universal compatibility, and precise adjustments in a unisex design suited for intermediate to advanced riders.
