Picture ZOYA Ski Jacket
The Picture Zoya ski jacket is designed for female skiers looking for a technical ski jacket that combines insulation and protection against demanding winter conditions. Its Dryplay 20K/20K membrane, combined with critically taped seams, ensures reliable waterproofing, while the 60 g/m² recycled polyester insulation provides effective warmth without adding extra weight. Underarm zippered ventilation and a fixed snow skirt round out a design focused on comfort on the slopes.
Picture ZOYA Ski Jacket
Designed for women who enjoy downhill skiing and snowboarding in all weather conditions, the Picture Zoya ski jacket combines effective thermal insulation with a high-performance membrane to withstand harsh mountain weather. Its construction incorporates fully recycled materials, making it a conscientious choice for skiers concerned about their environmental impact without compromising on technical performance. The straight cut offers freedom of movement suitable for both downhill runs and long days on the slopes.
The Picture Zoya Ski Jacket in Winter Conditions
At the heart of the Zoya is the Dryplay 20K/20K membrane, which combines a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm with a breathability rating of 20,000 g/m²/24h. In practice, this means the jacket repels snow and heavy rain while wicking away sweat generated during sustained exertion, preventing that damp feeling under the jacket. The PFC-free Teflon Ecoelite™ durable water repellent treatment enhances this surface water resistance without relying on polluting fluorinated substances. Critically sealed seams round out the design by eliminating potential points of water penetration at the seams.
Insulation and Thermal Management for Downhill Skiing
The 60 g/m² synthetic polyester insulation provides adequate warmth for winter temperatures on the slopes without making the jacket—which weighs a total of 888 g—excessively heavy. The fixed snow skirt prevents snow from seeping in during falls or when traversing powder snow, while the zippered underarm ventilation system allows for quick regulation of body temperature during ascents or breaks in the sun. The Lycra cuffs with thumb loops ensure thermal continuity at the wrists, complemented by a hook-and-loop closure for a precise fit.
Ergonomics and practicality for everyday use on the slopes
The ergonomic, three-point adjustable hood adapts to your head shape and fits easily over a helmet, ensuring optimal head protection without obstructing your field of vision. The waterproof two-way YKK® zipper makes it easy to put on and take off the jacket, even while wearing gloves. The pocket layout is designed to meet the practical needs of a day on the slopes: zippered hand pockets, a waterproof zippered chest pocket, an interior mesh pocket, an interior zippered pocket, and lift pass pockets allow you to organize and easily access your essentials. The drawcord-adjustable hem ensures a snug fit to keep cold air out.
Environmental Commitment and Certifications
The Zoya is made from 100% circular polyester as part of Picture’s “The CIRCULAR” technology, which relies on the use of recycled raw materials in a closed-loop system. This approach is validated by Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, which guarantees the traceability of recycled materials throughout the production chain. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification also ensures that the garments are free of harmful substances, providing peace of mind for wearing them next to the skin during long days in the mountains.
