The Rossignol BC 65 Positrack has a relatively narrow sidecut for a Nordic touring ski. Its preferred terrain is valleys and gentle slopes. You can also use it in groomed tracks.
The Positrack system provides backstop: a zone of scales in the middle of the ski. If you're planning to venture onto very steep slopes, remember to invest in a pair of skins.
How is the BC 65 Positrack constructed?
The ventilated wood core is both lightweight and robust enough to withstand all types of terrain. The base has a wax-free Positrack finish that guarantees a good compromise between grip and glide. The ski's maneuverability is enhanced by Activ Cap technology, which strikes just the right balance between torsional rigidity and supple flex from tip to tail. Last but not least, the full-length steel edges provide good grip for more control on the descent.
