Construction and materials

The Superguide 88 features a composite construction designed for endurance and responsiveness. A wood core combining lightweight and durable species provides a dynamic platform. Strategic fiber reinforcements and metal elements improve the ski's performance, shock absorption, and durability.

Key technical features

• Double wood core: combination of lightweight woods for a good stiffness-to-weight ratio.
• Fiber reinforcements (carbon/aramid): improved responsiveness and energy return.
• Additional reinforcements (fiberglass and Titanal): strength and vibration absorption.
• Full sidewall: edge grip and stability on hard snow.
• Skin attachment system designed to be quick and easy to use.

Uphill and downhill performance

On the ascent, you'll enjoy excellent efficiency: the ski remains light underfoot and allows for easy conversions. On the descent, its construction gives it precise handling, good absorption of irregularities, and maneuverability that will allow you to tackle technical sections with confidence.

What is it used for?

The Superguide 88 is designed for ski tourers looking for a ski that can handle a wide range of conditions—sometimes powder, often variable snow, narrow couloirs, or alpine routes. It's equally suited to challenging outings and long days of exploration.
