The HARFANG 106 freeride zag ski is a model designed for passionate off-piste skiers, offering exceptional stability and maneuverability in all snow conditions, from powder to ice. This versatile ski is the ideal tool for those seeking performance and reliability on all types of terrain, and who want to push the limits of their off-piste sessions.

Technical features:

Heavy Duty Construction: This ski boasts a robust and reliable construction, ideal for extreme conditions. Composed of multi-axial fiberglass and a poplar and paulownia wood core, it offers an excellent compromise between flexural and torsional rigidity. This design provides power, stability and performance in all snow conditions, ensuring optimal flotation in powder while being extremely grippy on hard snow. The "Heavy Duty" construction is inspired by the H-112 model used by top riders, guaranteeing maximum strength and safety.

Semi-CAP construction: Thanks to SEMI CAP sandwich technology, this ski transmits forces efficiently, while offering optimum grip on hard snow. ABS sidewalls enhance the ski's durability and increase its resistance to impact and cold, prolonging its lifespan.

Rocker and Camber: The ski is equipped with a Heel Rocker (20%) and a Spatula Rocker (35%), making powder turns easier and improving maneuverability while maintaining appreciable stability. The moderate camber in the center offers a good balance between flexibility and grip on hard snow, while the 5-point Shape reduces vibrations and increases the ski's responsiveness. Multi-spoke technology ensures a short radius underfoot for enhanced maneuverability, while maintaining forgiveness in difficult conditions.

Flex and rigidity: This ski features a highly rigid flex, offering strong thrust at the tail for improved landing and high-speed stability, even in the most challenging snow conditions. Torsional rigidity guarantees excellent force transmission, enabling precise cornering and stable tracking.

Top-of-the-range sintered sole: The ski is equipped with a premium sintered sole with stone finish and ceramic sharpening, ensuring optimal glide, durability and excellent grip on all types of snow.

Performance :

Versatility (3/5): Although it performs very well off-piste, this ski shows its limits on piste. Nevertheless, it remains an excellent choice for skiers looking to combine off-piste performance with acceptable ability on groomed terrain.

Maneuverability (4/5): Its construction and 5-point shape make this ski very responsive and easy to maneuver, while retaining sufficient stability to tackle more technical terrain.

Stability (4/5): The ski offers remarkable stability in both powder and hard snow, thanks to its medium radius and well-thought-out rigidity.

Off-piste ability (5/5): Designed for pure freeride, this ski excels off-piste, offering flotation, stability and maneuverability in all snow conditions.

On-piste ability (3/5): Although suitable for occasional on-piste use, this ski is primarily designed for skiers who prefer off-piste.

Ascent suitability (2/5): Its robust construction and rigidity, while excellent for downhill skiing, make it less suitable for technical ascents or ski touring.

Downhill ability (5/5): It's downhill that this ski really comes into its own, offering exceptional stability and responsiveness on all types of terrain.

The HARFANG 106 is a must-have for experienced skiers looking for pure off-piste performance. Thanks to its innovative design, robust construction and top-level maneuverability, it is the ideal companion for freeride sessions, offering unique gliding sensations on all types of snow.
