Comfort and support for day hikes

The NOVA IV MID GTX WOMEN hiking boots are described by Mammut as lightweight, high-quality hiking boots suitable for day hikes, allowing for a specific use without compromising on comfort. The 3D Memo Foam cushioning wraps around the foot to provide a more personalized fit, which is beneficial during long walks where support plays a role in overall comfort. Weighing 440 g in US size 7, this hiking boot remains in the lightweight category, helping to reduce fatigue from repeated steps.

Waterproof and breathable protection thanks to the GORE-TEX membrane

The inclusion of a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane places the NOVA IV MID GTX WOMEN in the category of hiking boots ready to tackle changing weather conditions. This membrane, in the GORE-TEX Extended Comfort 3L version, helps keep the foot dry while allowing internal moisture to escape, promoting a more stable climate inside the shoe while walking. The fact that this membrane is bluesign certified demonstrates a commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing, which may be a key factor for hikers concerned about the environmental impact of their gear.

Terracare nubuck leather upper and Vibram sole for controlled walking

The Terracare nubuck leather upper provides both durability and foot support, as this material is specifically noted as being sustainably produced in Germany and bluesign certified. This responsible approach complements the mechanical qualities of Terracare nubuck to offer a hiking boot designed to last. Underfoot, the Vibram sole ensures optimal traction as claimed by the manufacturer—a key advantage for navigating varied trails with confidence. The A5 flexibility rating and standard lacing system round out this design, allowing you to adjust the fit and enjoy a flex that’s tailored for walking.
