Designed for young skiers, the AULP Ski E Jacket is a junior ski jacket created to keep children ages 4 to 14 comfortable on the slopes, no matter the weather. Available in Celadon and Lichen, it combines protection against the cold, wind, and snow with a cut tailored to the movements of young skiers. Its design is based on technical materials that meet the real-world demands of days spent in the mountains.
The Ski E Jacket features a waterproof and breathable membrane with a water resistance rating of 15,000 mm and a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24h, two concrete metrics that help limit water infiltration while wicking away moisture generated by physical activity. The seams are taped, which reinforces the barrier against snow and rain at the points where fabric panels meet. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment applied to the outer surface helps water bead up and roll off rather than being absorbed by the fabric. The snow skirt prevents snow from seeping in through the bottom of the jacket during falls or in powder snow—a particularly useful feature for kids who spend a lot of time on the ground.
This junior jacket is cut to allow for unrestricted movement, with Lycra cuffs featuring thumb loops that keep the sleeves in place and prevent cold air from entering at the wrists. The adjustable hood can be tailored to the child’s body shape and accommodates a ski helmet. Drawstrings allow for a custom fit at the waist and hood depending on conditions.
