Reliable protection from the elements for young competitors

The Head RACE RAIN COAT JUNIOR was designed specifically for young ski athletes who train and compete in all kinds of weather. Made from 100% 2.5-layer polyamide, it combines a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm with breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24h, ensuring effective protection against rain and snow without causing moisture to build up under the jacket. Its knee-length cut provides extensive coverage, making it ideal for wearing over a racing suit or ski clothing. Inspired by the World Cup Rebels program, it combines the technical demands of competition with the practicality of everyday use on the slopes.

Waterproofing and protection: technical features designed for young skiers

The Head RACE RAIN COAT JUNIOR features fully taped seams to prevent any water from seeping in, even on the wettest days. The PFC-free durable water-repellent (DWR) finish causes water droplets to bead up on the surface and maintains waterproof performance over time, without relying on polyfluorocarbon substances that are harmful to the environment. With a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm, this junior ski jacket meets the demands of weather conditions encountered in both competition and training.

Features Designed for Competition and Practicality

Every detail of the Head RACE RAIN COAT JUNIOR has been designed to meet the needs of young athletes on the slopes. Here are the key features that make up its design:

• YKK® VISLON® two-way center zipper with protective flap: a sturdy, proven closure that blocks wind and moisture from the front.
• Fixed hood adjustable with a drawcord: it adapts to the child’s body shape and keeps the protection in place during runs.
• Two front snap-button pockets: easily accessible for storing gloves or a beanie between runs.
• Cuffs with internal elastic bands: they ensure continuous protection at the wrists and prevent cold air from seeping in.
• Buttoned inner construction and rear hem slit: allow you to adjust the length as needed or to accommodate the layers worn underneath.

A cut designed for competition use

With its regular fit, the jacket offers enough room to be easily slipped on over a racing suit, without restricting the young athlete’s movements at the gates or while turning. Available in sizes ranging from 128 to 176, it fits a variety of body types among children and teenagers. The HEAD WORLDCUP REBELS design, available in Navy and Pink, visually evokes the world of alpine competition while remaining easily recognizable on the slopes.

Whether facing a rainy training day or lining up at the start of a race, the Head RACE RAIN COAT JUNIOR offers young skiers the technical protection they need to focus fully on their performance.
