Deuter Aviant Access Pro: the bag for travellers
The suitcases that offer protection and volume quickly become a burden as soon as the ground no longer allows you to use the wheels. Backpacks are handy for carrying things, but access is limited and storage is impractical. Carrying straps can get stuck in airport carpets. Soft bags are not very versatile.
Following in the footsteps of Osprey with the Farpoint and Fairview, German brand Deuter is now offering a new range of bags for travellers: the Aviant Access Pro. These come in 60 L and 70 L for men and 55 L and 65 L SL versions for women.
With its front access, four handles and reinforced side panels, the Aviant Access Pro is an extremely versatile backpack. Compression straps, clever dividers and a separate bag for dirty laundry provide plenty of storage space. The zips can be used to fit a padlock and keep your luggage securely inside the bag.
For longer walking days, you'll appreciate the comfort of the Deuter Contact carrying system on your back.
The aviant Access Pro also has an integrated cover to protect the back system when handling luggage at the airport.
It comes with a small, detachable rucksack that can be attached to the front. Perfect for carrying valuables in the cabin and for day trips once you've arrived at your destination. This daypack also has a padded laptop compartment.
