L'Alsacienne de Raquettes ou de baskets
Put on your snowshoes or sneakers and take to the Vosges on two marked routes of 5.8km and 7.5km, all in a festive atmosphere. With family or friends, beginners or experienced, enjoy a mountain hike surrounded by hundreds of enthusiasts who gather every year for the event.
L'Alsacienne de Raquettes et de Baskets
The traditional Markstein event will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
The Alsacienne de Raquettes is a popular walk that has been organized for over 20 years now. This eagerly awaited event has become a real institution at Markstein. This year, it will be organized by the Kruth Ski Club. The 2025 edition will take place on February 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Speck-Sports rental store.
It's also an opportunity to get out your Alsatian costumes and explore the snow-covered forests of Markstein in complete safety and in a fun way for walking enthusiasts and those who are not keen on downhill skiing. The trails are accessible even if you are a beginner.
And if there isn't enough snow, the Alsatian snowshoe walk will become the Alsatian sneaker walk!
Rules:
First departure at 9 a.m., last departure at 1 p.m.
Subscription required at Le Tremplin restaurant at Markstein before departure
- Gift for the first 200 registrants
- Gift for the three best-represented groups
- Gift for the 10 youngest participants
- Gift for the oldest participant
- Gift for the best costume.
1 free refreshment during the race
La Ferme Auberge Treh will offer musical entertainment and light refreshments in its barn in partnership with Les Sonneurs Hautes Chaumes.
The Auberge Du Steinlebach will also have a refreshment stand outside its establishment.
