The new Barryvox S
Mammut has always produced high-quality avalanche transceivers, and the new Barryvox S is no exception. The electronic successor to Barry, the dog that saved over 40 people on the Grand St Bernard pass, has been completely redesigned and features substantial improvements.
Firstly, coverage has been increased from 50 to 70 M, one of the largest ranges on the market. This will facilitate the initial search. There's also a larger, backlit display. The device is ready to use as soon as you switch it on, and the interface has been simplified as much as possible to make operation even more intuitive. The Barryvox s features an automatic guidance mode. This is a very useful feature when you know how stressful an accident can be. Signals from multiple victims are isolated and easily marked via the central button.
