Zoom on the new Stöckli Stormrider 95
If Getafix found the formula for the magic potion, then the Swiss wizards at Stöckli have managed to find the formula for the magic ski. With its Titanal top skin, at first glance you might think you're dealing with a crowbar, an overpowered ski only suitable for expert skiers with oversized thighs. Not true, the Stormrider 95 is very easy to handle and offers unequalled comfort.
Compared to its competitors, this Stöckli ski is much more at ease on hard snow. While the tip of the ski is relatively supple to absorb shocks, the rear of the ski is lively and allows the ski to really bleed on the piste. It carves without a care in the world and you can have fun varying the radius of the turns: small bends and high speeds don't scare it. It's even possible to do a few sideslip turns in difficult conditions.
Off-piste, and particularly in packed snow, the Stormrider 95 2020 is imperial. The ski has a great ability to erase obstacles and follow its path without flinching. In very deep snow, the slightly stiffer tail limits the ski's ease just a little.
Suitable for? Intermediate to experienced skiers looking for an ultra-versatile ski that performs well in all snow conditions but is still very comfortable. The Stöckli Stormrider 95 takes you to the next level. Its only drawback is its price, but it really is a very good investment.
