Designed for expert skiers and competitors who demand an immediate response between their intention and the turn, the Rossignol HERO WORLD CUP 120 LV is a direct descendant of racing skis. Developed on the competition circuit, this boot is designed for skiers with narrow feet who seek precise contact with the ski and uncompromising power transfer. Its technical design and snug fit make it the perfect tool for challenging slopes, technical runs, and days when every tenth of a second counts.

A narrow fit designed for technical skiing

The 97 mm last of the Rossignol HERO WORLD CUP 120 LV clearly defines its profile: it is a Low Volume (LV) boot, designed for narrow feet. This snug fit, directly inspired by racing standards, combines a contoured forefoot with a sturdy heel to hold the foot in place without any residual play. The result is an anatomical fit that prevents micro-movements inside the shell—an essential requirement for precise control on hard snow or in slalom. Skiers with narrower feet will find here a balance between support, control, and comfort that wide-last models simply cannot match in this category.

Flex 120 and dual-material construction for direct power transfer

With a flex rating of 120, this alpine ski boot falls into the expert-competition category. Such a rating requires advanced muscle strength and technique: in return, it guarantees immediate responsiveness and power transfer without any unwanted energy absorption. The shell and cuff, both made of polyether, form a cohesive structure whose stiffness is modulated by Dual Core technology. This method of simultaneously injecting two different plastic hardness grades allows stiffness to be concentrated where power transmission is needed, while maintaining a dynamic rebound that returns energy upon exiting a turn. The shell thus envelops the foot like a natural extension of the leg, providing total control with every step.

Full Custom Pre-shaped Liner and Thermal Comfort

Inside the shell, the Full Custom pre-molded liner is shaped to precisely conform to the ankle’s contours. Its anatomical design reduces pressure points and enhances proprioception, resulting in better ski feel in all conditions. This type of liner is also compatible with in-depth boot fitting, allowing a specialist to fine-tune the fit according to the specific characteristics of your foot. The integrated Thinsulate™ insulation ensures thermal comfort during long days on the slopes, without adding bulk to the structure.

Precise Lacing and Race-Ready Adjustments

The closure system of the HERO WORLD CUP 120 LV ski boots is based on several complementary elements that allow for a precise and consistent fit:

• 4 micro-adjustable 100% aluminum 3-position buckles (Race Buckles): These provide progressive and precise tightening, with durability suited for intensive use.
• 40 mm Powerstrap: It secures the cuff against the shin to enhance force transmission during forward flex.
• Dual Canting System: This allows you to adjust the boot’s angle to correct knee alignment and optimize edge grip.

For the expert skier with a narrow foot who is looking for an alpine ski boot developed for competition and capable of meeting the demands of the most technical slopes, the Rossignol HERO WORLD CUP 120 LV is a logical and well-founded choice. Its 120 flex, 97 mm last, and dual-material shell technologies make it a precise tool, designed for those who refuse to compromise between their intentions and the ski’s performance.
