The Ride 18 Switch Airbag is the essential ally for all your freeride outings. Developed in collaboration with Léo Slemett, Freeride World Tour Champion, this backpack combines performance, lightness and safety, to give you an uncompromising freeride experience.

Ultra-light and functional

Weighing just 2.25 kg with its airbag system and carbon bottle, the Ride 18 Switch is a featherweight. You'll enjoy optimum freedom of movement while having all your equipment close at hand. It features an integrated helmet holder, ski, snowboard, pole and ice axe bindings, so you can take everything with you without getting in the way.

Thanks to its quick-access pocket for safety equipment (shovel/probe), you'll have quick access to your tools in case of emergency. You'll also find a dedicated mask pocket and a safety pocket for perfect organization of your belongings. What's more, there's space for sealskins, ideal for ascents in untouched terrain.

ARVA REACTOR 2.0 airbag system: safety first and foremost

The Ride 18 Switch bag is equipped with the ARVA REACTOR 2.0 airbag system, the lightest and most powerful on the market. Thanks to its double airbag, your chances of survival in the event of an avalanche are considerably increased. The shape of the balloons protects your head and optimizes ascent force for greater safety.

This ultra-powerful inflation system is one of the fastest and involves no electronic management. Its ergonomic design and easy-to-use release handle (left- and right-handed compatible) ensure rapid deployment in critical situations. The system is removable and can be used with all ARVA REACTOR bags, giving you great flexibility.

Comfort and durability

With its lightweight shoulder straps, thermoformed back panel and removable waistbelt weighing just 70g, the Ride 18 Switch guarantees optimum comfort even on long days in the mountains. Its 3D-FIT adjustment system adapts perfectly to your morphology, and its adjustable waist (40 to 50 cm) allows you to optimize the wear of the bag.

It's also designed with environmentally-friendly materials: 100% of the fabrics used are recycled, with 300D recycled polyester and 150D recycled polyester linings. What's more, it's PFC free, to minimize its environmental impact.
