Access to the main compartment is via a 270° zippered back panel—a design that allows you to lay the backpack flat and quickly locate your gear without having to take everything out. This back-entry design also has the advantage of keeping the contents protected when the pack is set down in the snow. Compatibility with a hydration system rounds out the interior organization for long days at high altitudes.

Safety and Transport of Snow Sports Gear

A front compartment dedicated to avalanche safety gear provides quick access to essential tools—such as a shovel and probe—without having to rummage through the rest of the load. The pack also features a helmet loop and an SOS tag with emergency instructions—two features designed for critical situations in challenging terrain. For transporting snow sports gear, the Nirvana 22 Women features a system for carrying skis diagonally and in an A-frame configuration, as well as a vertical carry system for snowboards. Attachments for an ice axe and hiking poles round out these options, making the pack versatile for any planned outing.

Construction and Back Protection Compatibility

Made from 90% polyamide and 10% polyester derived from recycled materials, the pack weighs 1,000 g and has compact dimensions: 48 cm high, 28 cm wide, and 16 cm deep. The back length corresponds to size S, or 43.5 cm, which is designed for the body type for which the women’s cut was tailored. The backpack is also designed to accommodate a Mammut back protector cover, sold separately, allowing you to add additional protection as needed. The Fair Wear certification attests to production that adheres to fair working conditions.
