Designed for unisex use, the Mammut Nirvana 28 is aimed at freeriders and ski tourers who use lifts and are looking for a functional, well-organized pack for the slopes. Its 270° zip-access to the main compartment from the back makes it easy to open the pack even while wearing gloves, without having to set everything down. With a 28-liter capacity, it offers ample space for day trips in the winter mountains.

The pack stands out for its interior and exterior organization tailored to the specific needs of snow sports. A dedicated pocket for avalanche safety equipment allows you to store the transceiver, shovel, and probe separately and within quick reach. A goggle pocket protects your goggles from impacts and scratches, while a zippered pocket on the hip belt provides immediate access to small items without having to take off the pack. The integrated SOS label with emergency instructions is a practical feature in case of a critical situation in the field.

A carrying system adapted to the demands of skiing and freeriding

The Nirvana 28 features several gear-carrying systems designed for technical winter sports. The diagonal and A-frame ski straps allow you to secure your skis based on the terrain, and a snowboard system is also included. The integrated helmet holder keeps your hands free during ascents on foot, and attachments for ice axes and trekking poles round out the features. The pack is also compatible with a hydration system and a Mammut back protector (sold separately) for those who want to enhance safety in the event of a fall.

Sustainable Materials and Responsible Construction

The pack is constructed from a blend of 90% polyamide and 10% polyester, made from recycled outer materials. The water-repellent treatment is PFC-free, meeting current environmental sustainability standards. The pack is certified by bluesign® PRODUCT and Fair Wear, two standards that address, respectively, the environmental impact of textile production and working conditions throughout the supply chain. Measuring 50 x 30 x 19 cm and weighing 1,070 g, it makes for a compact day-to-day companion without being bulky.
