Salomon DRIVER PRO SIGMA Visor Helmet for Optimized Vision in Downhill Skiing

The Salomon DRIVER PRO SIGMA helmet belongs to the category of visor helmets, designed for skiers who want to maintain a clear field of vision without adding a separate goggle. Its integrated visor features SIGMA™ technology for improved color contrast, which helps you better read the terrain as you descend. The interchangeable visor, with a visible light transmission (VLT) rating of 13% in Category 3, is suitable for sunny conditions and offers a wide field of view to help you stay focused on your line. Compatible with prescription glasses, this helmet is designed to balance visual comfort and protection, particularly for regular runs on the slopes.

Hybrid construction and protective technologies for intensive use

Safety is ensured by a hybrid shell that combines an upper shell made of injection-molded ABS with a lightweight molded lower shell, blending mechanical strength with a lightweight design to support your ski days without restricting movement. Inside, EPS4D technology is designed to optimize shock absorption by distributing impact energy, while the MIPS® protection system helps reduce oblique forces during multidirectional impacts. The helmet is CE-EN 1077 certified for skiing, confirming its compliance with European safety standards for alpine skiing. This combination of materials and technologies is aimed at skiers seeking technical protection for regular on-piste outings during the winter.

360° Fit and Interior Comfort for Full Days on the Slopes

For a secure fit, the Custom Dial 360° adjustment system allows for precise adjustment around the entire circumference of the head, helping to stabilize the helmet during changes in pace or variations in terrain. The MaxFit construction is designed to provide an instant fit by more easily conforming to the contours of the head and ears, complemented by 3D ear pads that enhance the feeling of a snug fit. The AdvancedSkin ActiveDry lining promotes rapid moisture wicking to maintain a longer-lasting feeling of freshness throughout your runs. Active ventilation, integrated into the shell, helps regulate airflow inside the helmet, working in tandem with breathable materials to minimize overheating during intense days on the slopes.
